5.5 lb. Corp. of Engineers Hammer

Manual compaction hammers have a 5.5 lb. (2.54 kg) or 10 lb. (5.08 kg) weight with a drop of 12" (305 mm) and a 2" (50.8 mm) face. Hammer is guided on a shaft. The foot assembly has a recoil mechanism to reduce impact fatigue. Tamping face is removable and replaceable.
