Compression Machine Spacers

Spacers are used with test platens to adjust the vertical clearance height inside a machine's load frame for testing specimens of various types and sizes. Spacers are machined plane on both ends to maintain a parallel alignment between the platen and test specimen. Spacers for high- capacity machines are mounted to the machine's upper crosshead by the draw rod method. Spacers for low-capacity machines sit on the machine's lower crosshead with a bearing plate. All spacers are painted for corrosion resistance.
