Modified Vicat for Consistency and Set Time

This Modified Vicat Apparatus tests hydraulic cement mortars. It is designed to switch between a 17.5mm dia. needle for consistency determinations and a 2mm dia. needle for time of set determinations. Plunger assembly with adjustable indicator weighs 300g with the 17.5mm needle attached and 400g with the 2mm needle. Includes a 76mm ID x 40mm brass ring mold.
