Vacuum Pycnometer, 2000 g

The vacuum pycnometer is used in rice testing for determining the maximum specific gravity of bituminous paving mixtures with a maximum aggregate size up to ¾" and a 2,000 g capacity. Clear acrylic lid with o-ring allows the operator to view the sample during testing. A second volumetric lid, tapered with a capillary bore and vacuum hose is included. Made from cast aluminum. Unit achieves vacuum using an aspirator or optional vacuum pump.
