6" x 12" Vertical Capper
Meets ASTM C-31, C-39, C-192, C-617 and AASHTO T-22, T-23, T-126, T-231 specifications.
These heavy-duty vertical cappers are used to apply molten capping compound to the ends of concrete cylinders for compression testing and insure the testing forces will be evenly distributed over the ends of the test cylinder. Place cylinders against adjustable guides on vertical arms for precise alignment. 1" thick base plate is precision surface ground to maintain planeness within .002" in any 6" area.
